Sisimpur Village is a digital learning platform designed for children, aiming to make early education interactive, engaging and accessible. The traditional offline lessons lacked appeal and scalability in today’s digital world. My goal was to design a digital experience that feels safe, joyful, intuitive, and culturally relevant for children while staying aligned with the educational values of Sisimpur.

Designing for children is uniquely demanding because their attention span, motor skills, and comprehension levels differ significantly from adult users. The initial experience lacked a clear learning path, and the navigation patterns were too complex for young learners to follow. Children were often unsure where to tap next, and the interface didn’t provide enough visual or audio guidance. To solve this, the platform needed a new structure—one that reduced cognitive load, reinforced confidence, and offered meaningful cues that guided children naturally through lessons.
The experience was redesigned to be character-led, intuitive, and beautifully minimal. Clear learning paths, large tap targets, and guided motion cues help children move through the platform effortlessly. Familiar characters, voice prompts, and soft animations create a warm, confidence-building environment. Navigation is structured around simple, predictable patterns, reducing friction and keeping focus on learning. Every interaction feels intentional—supported by subtle micro-interactions, refined spacing, and an accessible visual hierarchy that empowers young learners to explore independently.

The process began with observing how children interacted with early concepts and mapping out where they struggled. These insights informed a simplified experience flow, which I explored through a series of focused wireframes aimed at reducing friction and guiding young learners more naturally. After validating the structure through iterative testing, I elevated the experience with high-fidelity design—refining hierarchy, motion, and character involvement. The final system was supported by a clean, modular design foundation that ensured consistency and long-term scalability.

The final product feels warm, focused, and easy to explore. Children can enter, navigate, and complete activities with minimal assistance. Character animations celebrate progress, voice guidance supports understanding, and simplified layouts keep attention where it matters. The overall experience is smoother, more engaging, and more confidence-building—creating a digital learning space that children enjoy returning to.
